Hello, and congratulation for this really nice plane.
I have the spit with Accusim installed, and a weird bug. In the maintenance Hangar, the clipboard text is unreadable. It looks as if
half the pixels of the letter were there, or if the text was very dim.
The rest of the hangar is ok. I run Windows 7 64 bits

Someone else had a similar problem and it turned out to be an incorrect or corrupted Windows font.
Try searching the forums here and you should run across that thread.

Re: Hangar clipboard font problem
Well, it's not a corrupt font problem (the other post relates to the courrier font), but Adam_NZ gave the solution : it's a problem with
fonts hinting.
For Windows 7, I solved it by
* going to the "cleartype" part of the Windows configuration panel (typing "cleartype" in the search field does the trick)
* cleartype was already activated, but I systematically choosed the setting which gave the bolder rendering.
fonts hinting.

Aha, good to know. I'm glad you found the solution to that problem.ogier wrote:Well, it's not a corrupt font problem (the other post relates to the courrier font), but Adam_NZ gave the solution : it's a problem with

Re: Hangar clipboard font problem
Might I suggest an addendum to the install guide about this? There may be quite a few users out there blissfully unaware (as I was) that it's hinting-related. Not a setting I usually play with once the system is set up.Gypsy Baron wrote:Aha, good to know. Re: [Solved] Hangar clipboard font problem
I just noticed the same disturbed fonts in the hangar clipboard with C172! After many tests and new installation with no effect I found in the forum this solution! Never thought that cleartype-adjustment could influence the hangar clipboard! I also recommend to include this tip somewhere in the installation guide - or change the way the font is used.
