I started FSX and switched my aircraft to the Spitfire. I received an expected dialog box about running the .dll file, which I accepted. I then received the expected box about trusting this .dll, which I also accepted. The spit appeared in the window, started to rotate, and stopped before I received the fatal error box that Microsoft is so famous for, along with an unhandled exception in my .net framework that seems to point to simconnect. I installed the base aircraft first (which correctly updated my DX) followed by accusim. I've posted the details of the .net framework exception below, hopefully it will help in solving my problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Re: DLL file causes FSX to crash
The high compression of the textures. Not sure why they would raise havoc with things like .net framework and simconnect, perhaps Scott knows.
