If any skilled re-painters out there would give this one an attempt i think most UK fans would love it ;
I have personally had the pleasure of seeing this beauty up close in person and in the air. The link below contains more information on the cause and reason behind this livery. I have also included some images a but a quick google of 'nhs spitfire' will give you loads more results.

Interested in your logic Ron? No criticism, just really interested.Ron Attwood wrote: ↑23 Aug 2020, 17:04 Thank was/is a disgraceful use of a Spitfire.

I took it to be recalling the "Wartime Spirit" but did think it was an unusual "thank you".

An important tool in the fight for freedom being used for blatant propaganda? Goebbels would be laughing his socks off.

I'm with Ron on this. The NHS is 'not fit for purpose'. Mum broke her right hip at home last year and had to wait 3 hours for an ambulance. I was 20 minutes on the phone playing 100 questions before they decided that perhaps they should send an ambulance after all.

NHS sounds like universal healthcare that everyone so wants over in the USA, and according to you guys, it sucks. The paint is cool though. I like the color.

It was wonderful. When I was a lad, my brother went in to have his tonsils removed. There was no need but they took me in as well. To keep him company by all accounts. In contrast, there was a 2 week wait getting to a doctors appointment, before this Covid episode. Which is why most people don't bother if they get sick. Unless it's a long standing ailment of course.

Cheers BR. For a while there I thought I'd been cancelled.
I don't want to get embroiled in a covid thing but I have two neighbours who are nurses and I'm told things aren't as bad as they are portrayed. I have a friend who is (good luck to him, I couldn't do it) an undertaker. He was warned to get ready for a tsumani of deaths...didn't happen. Business as usual. I have had long conversations with staff in four supermarkets, Tescos, Asda, Sainsburys and Aldi. How many of your staff have gone off sick since the 'outbreak'? All of then said NONE.

I'll say no more.
