I think I may have got the date wrong as the weather got decidedly cheeky!

Great stuff Rob!
Nice to have a chat at RAF Cosford by the way. Finally got round to watching the BBC Spitfire film last night by the way and it was wonderful. No 'celebrity presenters' but just Spits and those who flew and fought in them.
Cheers,
Nick

Thank you sir.
Was great to meet you at Cosford!
Incredible film isn't it? They got it absolutely spot on and also a nice lasting tribute to the pilots like Geoffrey Wellum, Tom Neil and Mary Ellis who were interviewed but then sadly passed.
Cheers,
Rob

Very nicely done Mate. You've certainly nailed the handling now!
Watching that weather close in around brought back far too many real AND Sim memories of PNG for my liking . You were lucky it cleared. For a couple of minutes there I could see Cumulo Spuce or Cumulo Granite in your stars

Cheers Darryl! Yes was getting a but tight there in the old clear air to murky air ratio!!Killratio wrote: ↑14 Oct 2019, 20:47 Very nicely done Mate. You've certainly nailed the handling now!

Very interesting to fly in and I would normally avoid trying to treat my virtual spit as if she is a true precious restored aeroplane! I am sure I must have got date and time wrong as I don't think Matt and Co would have taken the real GIRTY into that mess!
Hope all is well with you.

Still crook as a dog mate but improving. 7 weeks and 6 courses of antibiotics so far, so restricted to drawing at the moment. So the distraction of your videos is most welcome!
Oh, the landing. The thing that really impressed me was that even though the final approach was a bit out of position, you just fixed it with no dramas and no apparent surprise/panic. You just took it in your stride. THAT is the mark of being comfortable with the aircraft.
Keep 'em coming!

Glad you are improving mate! Keep it going that way!
Yes that approach classic example of losing visibility under nose, drifting off course blind and then at the last minute having to adjust. Approach was a bit rushed and could have been better planned given the weather conditions. Special Spit challenges
