Anatomy of the Spitfire

I found this photo essay while looking for Spitfire cockpit photos, it is a Mk V and there are differences there but it's still very similar to the Mk I/II. I found it fascinating and thought i'd share it on here. I didn't realise how much of a plumbers nightmare the old girl was, pipes everywhere.

That's a great site for Spitfire enthusiasts and modellers alike. I used it when I put together the ancient Airfix 1/24 scale Spitfire a couple of years ago.
