J3 Cub Overspeed Stress
J3 Cub Overspeed Stress
I'm re-configuring an A2A Cub w/ Tundra tires to fly more like a Carbon Cub brush plane. I've edited the config file to increase horsepower, RPM, and maximum airspeed however I keep running into an issue with the airframe maintenance. Whatever utility is built into the model to track airframe hours and configuration sees that I'm overspeeding the factory airframe and quickly puts it into "poor" condition due to overspeed stresses whenever I fly at 95-100 mph. Any recommendations on how I can edit the overspeed threshold for this?

Hello,
the Accu-sim simulation engine is designed to work with certain cfg variables. If you edit it like it is a standard default aircraft you will be causing all sorts of weird behaviour we cannot support. I would guess your editing the files is the issue here. Please remember the realism of Accu-sim comes from the external flight modelling and physics that are injected into the sim external to the default relaxed realism of the platform.
thanks,
Lewis
