Visual bug with model?

If you turn to the left when inside the VC you will see this vertical strut to the left of the window frame -




........... but if you look into the cockpit from outside the aircraft you don't see it -



On the right hand side the horizontal strut disappears into the body when viewed from inside and outside the aircraft just as it should.
On the left hand side it appears to have gone wrong somewhere?

It seems to be the same with all models.

External and internal models arn't the same for perfomance reasons. The external model cockpit is low resolution copy of the internal cockpit. The shapes are downgraded, the texture resolution lowered.

Actually looking at this shot it would appear that the strut is correct in the view from the VC although I can't find a view of the right side which is differently modelled -

From the outside it has bolts so it can't be just a resolution issue. Not to worry I'd much rather it was correct from the inside anyway.
