I just learned about chilat,chilong,big circle, small circle, and rhumb lines and the respective correlation between those ideas measurements and the fairly standard 3 degree glide slope. Very interesting stuff indeed!

Yeah and that three is significant. A lot of the times your glide slope will be between 3 and 3.6 degrees no matter what airplane you're flying. THe hard part is keep the airplane under control with respect to speed. I hope all is well and thank you for the reply.
