I looked through the stack of posts and did not see this subject so here I go! LOL
I know of several of us die hard cub fans that would pay for a newer version in the line of the 3 new civilian models, which I own. They all agree with me when it is time to fly low and slow and shoot grass strips, it is all about the A2A cubby. No compromise!
So, I truly would pay for an upgrade at this point of what I would love to see.
1. A hanger!
2. Rebuilds and maintenance.
3. Better weight management for packing the cub. I want to go camping and fishing in this beauty.
4. Have enough realistic addons to really enjoy this plane in rural America to include Alaska.
5. At least a prop modification if not an assortments of engines.
I can tell you as someone owning all of your civilian planes to include the P51, the cubby rocks. Even with the 172 having over 500 hrs and the 182 over 300 hrs, the cubby is my go to airplane for enjoying all the new NA scenery by Orbix.
Please consider!

I also would love to see this little aircraft "revisited". I agree you really can not improve upon the J3 for all that "low n' slow" exploration of the great scenery packages out there. I'll bet there's a bunch of us who would welcome and gladly pay for the opportunity to "spruce" this little buggy up! Can we lightly twist just a few arms, maybe?

Re: J3 Version Upgrade?
I would agree with a paid "upgrade". With the limited amount of good light sport add ons available, not to mention light sport/stol capable/off airport type aircraft, I myself would love an upgrade at least representing say the Legend Cub series, or even some of the other manufacturers of cubalikes that would give those pilots restricted to light sport flying (or those that just enjoy low and slow off airport adventures) an accusimmed airplane for training and/or recreational flying. A nice engine replacement to the O-200 115 hp and a wind generator for some basic electrics would be a welcome addition. The Cub is seeing extended life with companies such as Carbon Cub, Legend, and others, so it would be nice to see them represented by A2A and the magic they so wonderfully produce
Re: J3 Version Upgrade?
I would certainly be ready for a cub upgrade, even paid.
I now have several a2a accusim birds, and I like them all.
But the cub remains my favorite, hands down.

Bring it on. My A2A J3 is subject to fly every where in the lower 48,Alaska to Papua New Guinea and on.
Improvements will be most welcome.

I would pay as well, as long as there is a P3Dv2.x installer option

Thanks fellas.... Do not forget the HD graphics....
I think this is very doable. Lets see if we can get more folks in here to buy off on a new Cubby.
BTW, the old is just fine..... but once you get spoiled on the new hanger opps and repair cycle, the Cub is way outdated.
Bring it on.... My credit card is down to zip. LOL

I go through phases where I gravitate to other planes but I always come back to the cub. It has become my favorite plane. Would also welcome any form of upgrade.

Re: J3 Version Upgrade?
I wonder if we have any bearing on the powers that be. I know they are super busy and personally I'd rather have other planes before a cub upgrade.

Re: J3 Version Upgrade?
Well, I would love a SUPER CUB also, but a standard cub with a good hanger to tweak and repair would be special.
Now, a Super Cub would make me consider some serious $$$$.
