Hello to all,
is it okay to start with the Piper/skis on a normal runway or will it accrue damage (I am talking about the virtual Piper not the real:-). When I want to fly to a glacier in PNW sometimes there is no snow in the valleys, so I have the problem on wich location I should start.
And how is this in real life ?
Regards
Jochen

Of course ! It is a lot of fun, I like her myself. But the ski Cub was unused in my virtual hangar for such a long time (like all ski variants from other planes e.g. Twotter).
I wanted to try something new.

Re: Piper Cub with skis
It won't be damaged by the runway surface at least in FSX it probably would be in real life so hope this helps.

I agree. Although taking off and landing on the grass is bumpier, it's less damaging.snave wrote:Land on the grass!
