Okay, here is the finished Ultima Thule repaint for our beloved Cub. Special thanks go to Hank Essers for offering me to use his excellent mud layer textures. An offer I couldn't refuse. ;)
Also thanks to lawdawg for pointing me to this beautiful livery.

Here is the instant download for now but I'll also upload it to AussieX.org soon

Ok Patrick,
She looks wonderful to me. The dirt is not outta place and overdone IMO.
Thank you very much, especially appreciated right now since I am still up w/my little girl who has been throwing up all night.

You are welcome, and all the best for your little girl! Sorry that it took so long. ;)

If someone would like the clean version: no problem. Replacement textures without the mud are included in the package.

Thank you for the thoughts toward Cheyann. She is my lil angel, and it is hard to watch your little one(s) suffer.
The thought of including clean paint is a nice touch too. This is a fantastic paint job, thanks again.

Edit: No worries on the time frame..I am glad you squeezed it your schedule..lol
I just bought FSX gold yesterday, and am finishing up loading it and all the other stuff...whew!
I am going to install the cub now then the paint....then fly (I hope)...then maybe sleep.

Wow, what a beauty of a paint. That's not just a great painting job there but just a pure beauty of a Cub. Whoever came up with that paint deserves some praise. Tanks for such a great painting job. Now where is PNW to fly in.

Well, the praise belongs to Jigsaw...aka:Patrick.
I asked him to paint it, and thankfully he did.
Ultima Thule lodge is up the road a bit from where I live. Actually, you have to fly there.
Paul Claus(one of the lodge owners and a bush flying legend here and very well known/respected elsewhere) owns a super cub in this paint, but the J-3 screamed for it I thought.
Thank you Patrick.

I think Cowboy meant the original designer who came up with that livery for the Super Cub. And I agree. He did a great job. It was fun adapting it for the J-3.

Those colors will take some time getting used to, but my god what a great job Jigsaw!! Everything comes together, the mud is awesome, and the boot dirt in the pit! Downloading...
