We should have an official paintkit out in 1 - 2 days.

Re: FYI - paint kit out shortly
Is anyone interested in painting a military L-4 version of the Cub? Would be awesome if a mission is also built around it....
Re: FYI - paint kit out shortly
Can life get any better............(smile)............BTW..... is anyone interested in adoption? I'll be looking for a new home in about 2 weeks when my wife returns......... seems I'm not getting any of my chores done around the house since this wonderful masterpiece has come out. (smile)

Excellent news - well done again for a fantastic product
Re: FYI - paint kit out shortly
I had done this one for the Flight Replicas Grasshopper and I think I still have most of the stuff saved somewhere on the storage drive............ should be an easy conversion over to this aircraft with a paintkit.

If the paintkit is out, would somebody be so nice and take a look at that paint ...

That would be great. Thank you in advance.

Re: FYI - paint kit out shortly
I painted "Mistress" for the Flight Repica L4 - Tom Schau-Damm helped with some detail (he owns the "Mistress") - it would look odd on the Cub, but worth a try.

Wrong version - Sometimes the RW owners look in and don't approve. But nothing against a lookalike...Private-Cowboy wrote:If the paintkit is out, would somebody be so nice and take a look at that paint ...

I know it's actually a Cub special. But the paints looks wonderful and would suit the J-3 well me thinks.CBris wrote:Wrong version - Sometimes the RW owners look in and don't approve. There's also a really nice "true" J-3 down under, the VH-DIT -> http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-p ... 808618.jpg
Although, looking as the photo it seems the cabin is longer. I'm pretty surprised to see that the Cub is relatively rare down under.

Re: FYI - paint kit out shortly
That one is the military version of the J-3 known as the L-4. It was different in a number of ways but the easy way to tell the difference is to look at the area of the fuselage just behind the wing TE. If it is fabric it's a J-3, if it's glass/plexi it's a L-4.Private-Cowboy wrote: I know it's actually a Cub special. But the paints looks wonderful and would suit the J-3 well me thinks.
