We hope so, but I cannot say when. We have some source material already, but we require a little more that Scott will be collecting in the future.

Will there be an update to the 3D model to correct some inaccuracies as well?

Looking forward to the AccuSim package and some new sounds.

The aircraft is part of our aircraft factory line, basicly a 'budget' range. Bringing it to Acc-Sim would require a full going over to really make the Corsair shine for FSX. 8)

That sounds great Lewis! Don't forget to add the missing Kohlsman knob on the altimeter so we can "zero" the altimeter more easily before doing those airshow routines :)

You're supposed to zero the altimeter before putting on a show? Well, no guts, no glory.

And I'm glad to hear that the Corsair will get the A2A treatment for AccuSim.

Mr. Lewis,
That's what I'm wanting too; not only in function and sounds (with Accusim) but also in enhancing the visual look which is IMHO a little lacking; "blurry" and "cartoony" in lines, colors, bump-mapping, and NO self-shadowing, etc.

So, if you could please bring it up to your (A2A's) "standards", I know many of us would be grateful. :D
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,

from,
James F. Chams

Very grateful, indeed.

The Aircraft factory Corsair is a great plane to just fly around but simply not in the same league as your excellent P-47.

And the footstep cutout should be moved to the starboard wing, too.

Wouldn't it be great if one of the add-on scenery development companies did a Solomon Islands scenery, circa 1943?
Hey, I can dream, can't I? ;-)

Would be nice to have something like Golden Wings for FSX. So far we have lots of fantastic period aircraft from A2A and other vendors but only a handful of vintage sceneries and no AI traffic.

I know from the recent Oct. update video that Scott and the team are very busy finalizing The upcoming release of The Spitfire. And the Mustang and Phantom are close behind.

I'd just like to voice my opinion how fantastic it would be to see a fully Accu-simmed F4U Corsair,It would be an incredible addition to the A2A lineup. This Iconic Warbird truly deserves The Accu-sim treatment.
Really looking forward to The Spit,Mustang and Phantom!
THX :D

Go to SimOutHouse, FSX War Birds, FSX Scenery, Solomons 1943. Scenery by Roger Wilco. Great stuff!
