JK repaints

Post by jcblom »

I was hoping for a new P3Dv4 version of the Jug, so I never uploaded my paints again after the OZx hack and crash, but since that does not seem to be in the pipeline, I'll upload a bunch every once in a while.
So far, these are now again available, on Avsim & Sim-outhouse.

Nice work, and thanks, JK. I have many of these already, but I've missed some too.

All we need now is for A2A to release an updated Razorback for P3DV4 - please!!!! It's been too long

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks for the re-uploads Jankees. I can confirm we dont have a P3Dv4 in the works at least at time of writing this.

Well whilst everyone seems to be in a state of flux regarding P3D, XP, 2020 and even other things its a bit of swings and round about's atm. Even more likely that the dynamic work ethic we use will mean things can change around very quickly and a no can quickly become a yes as things change. And talking of swings and roundabouts, whilst the P-47 is currently in a holding pattern, I got a good update on the B-17 today if that makes you feel any better?

thanks,

To be honest, no, not really.
In May we had an update which promised us many things, Texan 2, T-38, Aerostar, (all with pictures) new Spitfires (Mk.IX????), P-51 update (why?), Piper Cub and last the B-17.
We have seen none of the above so far, so a good update might mean that on the B-17 the nr.1 engine is now modelled....
Sorry, had a rough day

Oh yeah I do see what you mean and I get a bit down by it too tbh I've been waiting over a year for the B 17 now.

To be fair Jankees, nothing was "promised" in the May update. In fact, I'll quote Scott directly from that post.
Scott - A2A wrote:I'm going share what I can regarding other projects in the works, but please accept that anything in development that we intend on releasing, does not mean it will get released. The landscape changes too fast to know anything for certain beyond just a few months. A2A's ability to remain flexible and adaptable has always been one of our strengths and committing to anything long term goes completely against that flexibility.
Releasing these kind of updates is a tough call. If we say nothing or give just the vaguest hints, people are unhappy. But if we try and give a peek at some of the projects which are occupying the development team, and they don't materialise as purchasable products in a timely manner, people are unhappy too.

If it's any consolation, we really are trying to trundle the P3Dv4 PBR Cub out through the hangar doors as quickly as possible. It's just that other projects have a knack of getting in the way.

Best regards,
Nick

P.S. Beautiful repaints and screenshots as usual! :)
