AccuSim for this bird?

Post by guenseli »

Hi,

in the B377 Thread Lewis - A2A said "P47 is next for the Accu-sim treatment."
Is this Thunderbolt meant to get AccuSim added?

Greetings

Hello,

Indeed the FSX update to et the aircraft in FSX properly was the first step. And so like the 377 the acccu-sim will be an optionalextra for those who want the added realism. There are many customers out there who like to fly the standard aircraft minus the realism. So we do try to cater for all.

The accu-sim for this bird is indeed now full steam ahead whilst the B377 update is tested.

Lewis, I'm not worried either way but just wondering.
Will the AccuSim upgrade be payware or a free-bee for current owners ?

The AccuSim will be payware. The amount of development required to get AccuSim technology into this aircraft is no simple simple task as it requires lots of testing, lots of data processing, lots of historical data, etc. While I cannot confirm the price of the package, it will be reasonable and competitive.

Anything advertised as a patch will always be free for our users.

Indeed we will be following the 377 system of basic aircraft for those who want it then additional pack for those who want the realism.

The additonal accu-sim pack in the thunderbolts case will be competitively priced of course and have some stunning new features verging on a complete overhaul. 8)

I can't wait. The Stratoliner is what flight simming should be.

The front page video was my unexpected treat for the day. :)
So we'll have a canopy release in the cockpit?

Just watched that trailer in High Definition. Wow! At age 66 I am not easily impressed with much anymore. That P-47 that you are putting together impresses me.

Hi def YouTube is going to be good for A2A in 2009, since now everyone can better see the quality of these planes.

Man, it looks so beautiful, it almost hurts...love the sounds with the canopy open..

Just two small points and three questions:
- Shouldn't you have an African American pilot in #38?
- I see no steel plating underneath? Shouldn't they be there?

- Will it come with a paintkit, as I see the textures have changed with respect to the previous model?
- Will this be the standard of the new Mustang too?
and then of course: WHEN????

African American check
Steel plate check, it is there!
Paintkit check

And yes the mustang will be as good if not better, we develop things with each product and the thunderbolt is still developing even now at this late stage. The Razorback is in Beta.

For public relations, African American is acceptable. However, I never met a single black guy in the military that wanted to be called "African American!"

:D

Oh, and Lewis, I think I owe you an apology mate. It seems my stint on SOH made things worse when talking about that plate.
