i know for a fact that you can see the other aircraft's smoke in multiplayer, but i believe you can also see other animations as well ie gear, doors,props etc. go to fsx mission.com there is a tutorial on mission building. what is interesting is that you are shown how to bomb a factory. visible contrails now that sounds nice.

basic animations you could see in multiplayer before. Eg anything animated using a regular naming convention. You couldnt see animations that were done with keyframe animations. If I got this right. The smoke trails I would like to see I just havent tried it in FSX multiplayer yet. manely because I havent found somebody to fly with. I am hoping to find a regular B-17 buddy to fly some pilot,copilot flights with using the WOP B-17 sometime.

I'll do some flights with you as i have been looking for the same thing. gonna be on vatsim doing some b-17 stuff with a friend, in east uk if you guys want to get in.
