heavy Bombers and Jets

Post by George Kuhn »

I still have the old box version of the Wings of Power WWII Heavy Bombers and Jets for FS9.

I wanted to ask. Will this same boxed product make a come back for FSX.I miss these planes a lot.Mainly the B-29.

Even stand alone planes from this older version, would be great.

In a small way there already was a HB&J for FSX. It was a re-release version on a DVD titled "Aircraft Power Pack" about six years ago where all the HB&J aircraft also had an option to install to FSX. Unfortunately, Microsoft's own service packs for FSX have compromised the compatibility of Aircraft Power Pack's FS9 portovers.

Scott has already said that HB&J is too old a product to bring up to true FSX standard; see this thread for discussion.

I can't speculate on whether A2A will ever put any of the remaining HB&J aircraft into development for FSX, but I highly doubt that all of them will be remade. My personal feeling is that the B-29 or Lancaster would be the most likely contenders for remake, based on their popularity among forum members.
