Hi all,
I finally got around to moving some of the Wings of Power 1.1 aircraft to FSX Acceleration. (Hey, better late then never, right? ) Even though with Acceleration / SP2 the FS9 ported planes exhibit the common issue with the props and clouds, I'm just having so much trouble going back to FS9 these days it's something I can ignore for the planes I can't get in a native FSX format (yet).
The texture fix provided by A2A for the B-24s and Lancs windshields is much appreciated. I searched the forum and didn't see a fix for the missing gauges in the B-29 but I figured out how to do it. Hopefully I'm not rehashing old news and thought I'd share the fix in case it helps others. In the Vcockpit01 section of the panel.cfg file (listed below), change the three negative numbers highlighted in red to 0 (zero).

gauge11=b29!Oxy Cyl Pressure, 767,512,257,258

gauge13=b29!Flaps Position, -2,255,257,258
gauge14=ww2usa!Radio Compass, 254, 253 ,259,261
gauge15=ww2usa!ILS, 767,256,255,257
Once I made those changes the gauges were all there in the B-29's virtual cockpit. I don't have the PowerPack so I can't say if this is an issue with the FSX installers included in that package. I just followed the list of files that I needed to copy which I also found posted in the forum. I really appreciate the fantastic support the A2A team gives us.
Cheers,
Rick

Re: B-29 Missing Gauges in FSX - Fix
I'm trying to get the B-17 to work but there are missing guages on that plane too. I'm missing the Attitude indiacator, Gyro compas, Altimiter and one more that I can't identify. Any ideas? Running XP, FS Acceleration.
