I'm considering reinstalling v3 just for the B377

I fly it in latest P3Dv4. You have to turn off Accu-Sim and the rudder acts a bit strange but it flies great and looks great.

Hi Warbirds,

Thanks for your reply, how do you install it in P3Dv4 if it doesn't recognise anything when FSX is not installed on the computer, it stops the installation process?

Create an empty text file, name it FSX.exe and place it in the P3D main folder. Should be sufficient, that‘s how I installed the P47.

Hi folks,
I managed today to actually get the B377 running in P3Dv4.5!!

One thing though is that I don't have any sounds whatsoever being produced by the B377. Is that something you guys have come up against in P3Dv4.5?

Regards,
-Peter

Hi Peter.
The B377 as you know was not made for P3D at all , it can be made to work i believe in P3Dv3 , but not in P3Dv4 & 5 , as the B377 sounds are made for 32 bit and P3Dv4 & 5 are 64 bit sounds , that is why you have no sounds .
Also you will no doubt have some systems not working as they should , so untill or if A2A make it for P3Dv4 & 5 , you are stuck with FSX or P3Dv3 , if you wish to fly this aircraft , just like others are waiting for the B17 and P47 for P3Dv4 & 5 , i suggest you put it on santas list and keep your fingers crossed.

this part does not appear to be true... I loaded some of the sound files for the now released B-17 and 049 for v4 into audacity and they are also 32 bit sounds. seems like a different problem.
