I noticed on page 1 the posting by Vaga with all the links to repaints are "This Webpage is Unavailable"
err_name_not_resolved. I show them all as Broken Links.

It's about time for me to go through the whole list and see what is still available. I haven't done that in a little while.

I need to add your two new United paints to the list, and that would be the perfect time to check for dead links or links that have changed.

Usually anything that was uploaded to one of the main libraries stay pretty dependable.

Thanks,
Forest

I was reading posts here and noticed that Avsim's hard drives went out. So now after a week or a little more I see their back on line, and the links are working again now. Sorry for the confusion, Rick.

Not a problem. :)

I just finished an unplanned complete system reformat and a total re-install back to FSX. I just took off on the first flight of the last few days. Should be able to do a daytime flight tomorrow and get the two images I want, so we can get your new United liveries on the listing.

I'd still like to go through each of that available paints to make sure all are available as listed.

Looks good thanks for posting. That is kinda odd however that the spinning props turned out real black as they did on your photos.

I'm betting that's because I had the sim on Pause, in order to take the screenshots of both aircraft, without reloading that flight position.

Paul,

Good work finding one of these. I thought I had scoured the libraries for all the 377 repaints out there.

Word of note:
This is one of Sean's repaints for the earlier A2A 377 release versions. Sean was one of the most prolific re-painters of the 377 at that time. His repaints were based on the original paint kit. Repaints done with the earlier paint kit do work on the new 377 and COTS, but they don't get to take advantage of the enhanced metallic and reflective qualities achievable with the new paint kit.

I will definitely post your new find in the section of this thread dedicated to those first generation repaints.

Thanks for finding this missing treasure.

You're very welcome, FAC. I see that Fly Tampa's Hong Kong & Kai Tak scenery is featuring in some screenshot threads, and there couldn't be a more appropriate repaint for a Stratocruiser based there. :)
