That C97 simulator...

Post by Sayuuk »

Hi,

I just watched the youtube video about you guys adapting the B377 to be used as a C97 simulator.

Are there any plans to release this to the public when it's done?

I mean I love the B377, but it could do with a VC-overhaul, and from what it looks like, that's basically what you're doing for the C97.

Thanks, Stefan

Tim Choppe of the Berlin Airlift has been using our 377 for his C97 training for some time now. He is very pleased with how this has been working for him, but he does have some wishes from us, of which we've been making for him.

We are not sure we see a C97 simulator product for the mass-market, rather, this is us just helping a comrad in the industry. Tim is in the trenches, working around the clock for his dream. Every bit of help he can get is well deserved, and we if we can help Tim out we do.

However, the good news is there is a product we may be releasing to the public as a result. We need to get a bit further before we make anything official however, but I will say it is always wonderful working with the 377.

I have 700 hours on the B377. Its the only thing I fly now. I fly it mostly in military skins. I would spring for any additional B377 related add on, I have to admit however, I am waiting for the Accusim P-51.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D liquid cooled, OC to 4.5 ghz, Radeon XFX 6900XT Black edition, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ddr4 ram, Asus Hero Crosshair VIII mother board, and some other stuff I forget exactly what.

Hmmm C-97 and a KC-97 would both be very interesting. Used far more than the 377 Stratocrusier was. WOuld be cool!

I think it would be neat if the Stratocruiser were simply updated to reflect the advances made in Accusim and Crew AI

I'd like to bump more interest in a commercial release of this labour of love.

Sure it'd make a nice ~$15-20 expansion but heck to be honest, I'd pay a full new-product price!!

What ya recon Scott, maybe even a brown paper bag under the desk?
