One or the other. Acceleration includes SP2 so you don't need to
install the downlloadable SP2. It won't let you install on top of
Acceleration I believe...

Electronics Technician.... a 'black shoe' rate but I volunteered for a 'special
assignment and was assigned to a squadron ( OASU/VX-8 ) and did two 6-month
TDY's to Viet Nam back in '66 and '67. When not TDY I was at Pax River, MD.

Question:

I checked sp2 when I installed the magnificent B377. Since all the features only work with Acceleration, I would like to install Accel now.
Can I install Accel over the top of sp2, or do I need to remove the B377 and start over with a fresh install of both the 377 and Accel and then ck Accel instead of sp2 when it loads?

Thank you...I love the airplane.

You should be able to just install Acceleration and be good to go.

With that note though, people in the past have experienced some issues with that. Myself, when I installed Acceleration, it broke FSX and I had to do a complete reinstall to get everything in working order.

I believe you need to first uninstall SP2 and then install Acceleration. Not sure if that would affect the 377 in any though, probably not. I'm fussy however and just did a completely clean install when I added acceleration. If you have any custom paints on default aircraft, Acceleration install will change their aircraft.cfg files, so be sure to back those up if you have a lot of default plane custom paints.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

I'll be in the market for a new computer in a month or so. I think I'll wait till then to try Acceleration. Everything will be new and fresh then, and the SP will be out.

I do have fun with the 377 however. I've flown a lot a real round engines, and this thing comes very close to real.

Thanks!
