It was me, who loaded this up!
A friend gave it to me.

Can anyone offer some more clearcut instructions on how to turn the paintkit into Flight Sim textures?

@ Mister-Knister:

Rapidshare reports no further downloads possible. Could you place the files somewhere else (flightsim.com; avsim, etc.) or re-upload them.

Cheers,

Hi!

Yes of course, but I don't know the legal situation.

Is it allowed for me, to upload the official paintkit of A2A?
I don't want to offend against their copyright...

Best regards

Well, can anyone of A2A comment on this?
I mean, the paintkit used to be linked directly from this forum, which, imho, means that it is readily available, but I agree, the question has to be answered beforehand.

Cheers!

Well, it's not exactly like A2A is being all that proactive in restoring access to it. If you're just giving the community access to the paintkit in the same manner in which it was originally given, I don't see why it would be a problem. I'll upload it and host it if no one else wants to.

I doubt anybody will see this post because this is an ancient thread, but I thought I would ask anyway. Are the links provided in this thread to the very most current version of the Paint Kit? The last time I tried to do a repaint, I became discouraged because I ran into a number of Alignment errors (textures being mapped a pixel or two off here and there).

Can someone confirm if this is the latest, and if not, could somebody from A2A provide the latest? Now that COTS has been released I am newly inspired to do repaints, but don't want to spend hours trying to figure out why my pinstripe is misaligned, or why my rivets aren't symetrical from left to right.

I don't know if this will help or NOT - but I see a lotta comments from those who are having Trouble downloading that B377 Paint kit,,, from that AVSIM Site,,,,,,, how about A2A making them Available to - WWW.SURCLARO.COM web site, where you can get PAYWARE and FREEWARE Aircraft and Scenery and post Screen Shots !!! Surclaro, has kinda been left out in the field for some reason since FSX rolled out I notice, they were real popular back in 2002 thru 2008,, lets bring Surclaro back to life again for Flight Simmers - WWW.SURCLARO.COM for downloads of FREEWARE and PAYWARE ! Hi all

As I usually try to get hold of the repaint kit for any add-on that I am thinking of getting I do have a copy of the repaint kit for the B377 that was made by Martin Catney and was originally available from the AVSIM site, so as I am not sure on the forum regulations regarding the posting download links if anybody wants a copy I would be more than happy to upload it to the server I use for my repaints and send you the download link via the PM system if you like, just let me know and I will get right onto it.

Be aware though that the paintkit weighs in at 228Mb.
