Paintkit

Post by Lewis - A2A »

Hey bladerunner it looks like a few of the paint kits became victims in the last Dropbox server issue. I'll go through them to get them restored when I'm back in the UK next week.

I might be able to get it done sooner I'll see how much access we have from the tent.

Thanks,
Lewis

Thanks Lewis. I appreciate it. I'm a bit late coming to this model but better late than never, eh!

Paintkit

Bladerunner,

Would you consider expanding the Pan Am livery selection with this particular, white-topped version? http://www.famgus.se/Pictures/APF-B377.jpg

N1037V Clipper Fleetwing, now sitting in Tillamook, OR as a Miniguppy.

Assuming the paintkit is made available again and you are willing to do something mundane and boring! :p

Oops! Just noticed this. Thanks Lewis. :mrgreen:

@Jacques
It's going to take me quite a while to get to know this paint kit so it won't be for quite some time. Have you thought of having a go yourself? It's great fun to do and is very satisfying when you do that special livery for your favourite aircraft. You can use Paint.net for psd files now and it's free.

Hi bladerunner,

I had no idea there freeware options, so I've always never tried due to the cost of the program! Yeah, I will give it a go, certainly!
Thanks for replying!

Oh! I forgot. You will need the psd plug-in to load Photoshop files with Paint.net. GIMP is another free program that can handle psd files by default, but you will need a dds plug-in for that.
