P-40 repaints

With the Flying Tigers shark-toothed paint, the P40 is the most famous fighter of the second world war.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A (Shockwave) P-40 Tomahawk, representing 39-160, one of the earliest production models of the P-40, and one of the very few that were delivered unpainted. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Martin Catney.

The repaints are "great "I have a request if you would like to do it " OD and gray with the old markings like on the 20-MD you painted US ARMY under wings and old randels on wings and on sides.Spattz field Reading Pa. were Mid Atlantic Air Museum is was home to the P-40,P-47 and the B-24s back in the day. I seen a picture once of a p-40 painted in the od and gray with the old markings.

I've been thinking of painting a few OD ones, but I'm not sure what it is exactly that you are after.
The earliest scheme for the P-40 was OD/grey, with the early roundels on the wings only, striped tails and squadron badges on the side:

while a later scheme had roundels on just one wing, but on the side of the fuselage as well. The squadron badge and the stripes on the tail have gone now, but they still have US ARMY below the wings.

which one do you want? You mention a picture, could you post it?

That's odd, they all work for me.
My paints are spread over 3 sites, Avsim (www.avsim.com), OZx (http://aussiex.org/forum/) and sim-outhouse (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php).
It could be that you're registered on any of those sites (it's free) and that that is the reason they won't work.
I think nearly all of them are on sim-outhouse, look for 'jankees' under the add-ons.

Here's a link to my latest repaint: Tomahawk IIB AH791 RM-E of No 26 (south african) squadron, in a special excersize paintscheme that was used in 1941:
