Default Beechcraft landing light problem

Post by CUJO »

At first I thought it was just that I had gotten a new Saitek flight system, but after testing all my default airplanes and my add-ons that don't have the redux on them yet, I just have a problem with the default Beechcraft landing lights not staying on.

Is there a fix or a patch or a different light config I can use to stop the lights from going off?

Do they go off at a random time?

No they go off imediatly. I watch them turn on, then blink right off.

I thought it was a control setting but since it isnt on any other aircraft I thought it was strange and couldn't be a hardware repeat switch problem.

Is your gear up when you attempt this?

No its just while sitting in the tarmac. I always do a run up of all my systems and run through all the lights before taxi. No matter where I'm at the landing lights won't stay on. It's almost like hitting a momentary switch in wich they only come on while the button is being pushed but the immediatly they shut off, switches flipping and everything.

Are you running FSX in DX10?

Nope, still using XP and FSX without any type of DX10.

I am experiencing the same thing on the Beech Baron 58 ...I have FSX Acceleration, DX10, and Windows Vista ...so it seems it does it on either operating system and Direct X version. What to do? :?

I don't see what the difference should be if its night or day. All my other lights at least glow.

I think Shockwave solved the issue here:
