I have recently purchased 3D Lights and created a profile for the MD-82 and it looks great but I cannot get the lights to turn off when I retract the gear/landing lights. I have put the proper line in the panel.cfg. Can anybody shine some light (groan) on this issue? Is it a Leonardo thing? Thanks in advance for your help...

Re: Leonardo MD-82
Make sure the light is identified in the aircraft.cfg as #5
Example:
light.7 = 5, -71.0, 18.0, -4.7, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_747_rw // Shockwave light
Then in the Panel.cfg, have the same light identified as a landing gear light.
Example:
PANEL.CFG
[VCockpit01]
...........
gauge21=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
Scott.

Re: Leonardo MD-82
To clarify this is for FSX...
Lights identified as #5 - check.
do I need to specify in the panel.cfg "Lights_taxi_gear?" I have "Lights_gear"
When you say "have the same light identified as a landing gear light" does that mean I need a line in the panel.cfg for each landing light or does a single line trigger all of them?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Leonardo MD-82
I have read through the stickied how-to several times and tried many of the suggestions there and still no joy. I am thinking that it must be something specific to the plane...I just can't get them to turn off. I may be missing something simple but I'll be durned as to what.
Thanks,
Andy
