3rd Party Aircraft Config Database HERE

Post by Scott - A2A »

We have posted the first release of an online web database. This database is to help our customers easily find information to add 3D Lights to 3rd party aircraft installed on their system. Thank you to those who have taken the time to share their configurations.

3rd party aircraft configurations for Flight Simulator 2004
https://www.a2asimulations.com/store-of ... ts_fs9.htm

3rd party aircraft configurations for Flight Simulator X
https://www.a2asimulations.com/store-of ... ts_fsx.htm

Those who have posted, please note:
If you posted information on a 3rd party aircraft and it is either not in the database, in the wrong database, or not correct, please post here. Many posts did not specify if the information was for a FS9 or FSX aircraft or both. We expect there will be a period of correcting things until the database settles in.

Moving forward from here, any new aircraft configs should be placed in this thread. We will routinely add the info to the database, deleting posts in here as they are added. This way people can get the very latest information right here, in one place.

Iris Simulations/ DSB Hawk LIFT (100)

Post by awj112 »

This config works with all three models. Just remember to alter all three panel and aircraft config files.

DSB Hawk 100 LIFT

add to panel.cfg
gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 3, 6, -3.1, -.5, fx_shockwave_navred //--Left wing nav light
light.1 = 3, 6, 3.1, -.5, fx_shockwave_navgre //--Right wing nav light
light.2 = 1, 1.30, 0, 3.33, fx_shockwave_beaconh //--Upper beacon
light.3 = 1, -7.61, 0, -1.70, fx_shockwave_beaconb //--Lower beacon
light.4 = 3, -15.45, 0.85, 1.08, fx_shockwave_navwhi //--Anti-collision light
light.5 = 4, 5.20, 0, 2.80, fx_hawk_vclight_127
light.6 = 4, 11.41, 0, 1.09, fx_hawk_vclight_127
light.7 = 2, -10, -14.2, 0, fx_Vortices
light.8 = 2, -10, 14.2, 0, fx_Vortices
light.9 = 5, 18.95, 0, -2.42, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow //--Landing light

Note: for some reason, the display models don't show the right nav light. All other models do.

Here is my most sucessful Wilco 320 cfg file for FX9. Somehow or another I stumbled on what seems to help turning off the front landing light when the wheel is up, if you change the light type form a 5 to a 6 you can turn the front landing light on or off using the taxi light switch.

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 =3, -15.80, -54.90, 3.34, Fx_shockwave_navred ,
light.1 =3, -15.80, 54.90, 3.34, Fx_shockwave_navgre ,
light.2 =2, -71.00, -0.0, 4.90, Fx_shockwave_strobe_3 ,
light.3 =2, -16.54, -54.90, 3.34, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l ,
light.4 =2, -16.54, 54.90, 3.34, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l ,
light.5 =1, 3.00, -0.15, 8.50, Fx_shockwave_beacon,
//light.6 =3, -20.85, -47.23, 4.18, fx_navwhi ,
//light.7 =3, -20.85, 47.01, 4.18, fx_navwhi ,
light.8 =1, 2.50, -0.15, -5.00, Fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red ,
light.9 = 5, 0.000, -7.0, -3.00, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light
light.10 = 5, 0.000, 7.0, -3.00, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light
light.11 = 6, 38.000, 0.00, -5.0, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light
none of this is my work- this is just a mix of what other users contributed.
Hope this helps.

Here is my offering to add 3D landing lights to the Premier Aircraft Design EMB 190 for FS2004/FSX.

Add the following to the [LIGHTS] section of the aircraft.cfg

light.9=5, 2.5, -6.00, -2.30, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave
light.10=5, 2.5, 6.00, -2.30, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave
light.11=5, 40.0, 0.0, -6, fx_shockwave_landing_light_a321_nose // Shockwave light.

Hello Folks,

here's new landing, nav and beacon lights for David Maltby's excellent De Havilland Comet for FS9. The wing taxi lights are aliased as landing lights (they're bright in real life).

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1 Beacon, 2 Strobe, 3 Nav, 4 Cockpit, 5 Landing, 6 Taxi, 7 Recognition, 8 Wing, 9 Logo, 10 Cabin
//fuse strobes
light.0=1, -40.41, 0, 7.2, Fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red
light.1=1, 9.25, 1.875, -3.198, Fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red
light.2=5, 14.25, 4.975, -1.198, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow
light.3=5, 9.25, 13.875, -1.198, fx_shockwave_landing_light
light.4=5, 14.25, -4.975, -1.198, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow
light.5=5, 9.25, -13.875, -1.198, fx_shockwave_landing_light
//VC lighting
light.6=9, 50.429, 1.22, 2.25, fx_Vclight ,
light.7=9, 50.429, -1.22, 2.25, fx_vclight ,
//nav
light.8=3, -13.446, -53.993, 1.045, Fx_shockwave_navred
light.9=3, -13.446, 53.993, 1.045, Fx_shockwave_navgre

best wishes

Nige

FS9 PMDG 747-400 and PMDG 747-400F

Post by perryfincher »

I used the following config for FS9 PMDG 747-400 and 747-400F. Strobe lights seem to follow wing flex so far. I am still trying to work on brightness of strobes. I am learing these things as I go, so hope this works for everyone and I learn something new, I will share it with everyone. I also used the following:

gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

for the panel config under VC01 by adding it to the end. Just change the XX to the next number. This will allow you to turn off the taxi and landing lights with out them staying on. Right now they will flicker after takeoff until you turn them off. I am still trying to figure it out to stop them from flickering. As far as the logo lights flickering. I just turned them on last and that seems to stop the flickering. Hope this helps.

I try to read everyone's postings to see if what I am using is the same or different in order to help with the logo lights and strobes on wing flex. If anyone can shed light to make the strobes brighter, please let me know.

Perry Fincher

light.15 = 9, -210.149, -8.00, 35.117, fx_pmdg744_logo, //Logo Left

I applied the following setup to the aircraft config file for the FSD C-17 in FS9 and it works for 3d lights. I have not tried setting up or adding landing lights yet; however, Shockwave Redux 3D Lights worked. I hope these will help others.

Captain Sim C130 FS9

hi folks, here's for C130 captain Sim

[lights]
// Navigation
light.0 = 3, 0.76, -66.80, -1.00, cs130_navred
light.1 = 3, 0.77, 66.80, -1.00, cs130_navgre
light.2 = 3, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_double
light.3 = 3, 11.75, 0, -15.55, fx_navwhi
light.4 = 7, 0.76, -66.80, -1.00, cs130_nav_red_flash
light.5 = 7, 0.77, 66.80, -1.00, cs130_nav_gre_flash
light.6 = 7, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_flash_double
light.7 = 7, 11.75, 0, -15.55, cs130_nav_whi_flash
// Anti_Collision
light.8 = 1, 23.24, 0.00, -15.59, fx_beacon
light.9 = 1, 5.29, 0.00, -1.47, fx_beacon
light.10 = 1, -48.59, 0.00, 21.70, fx_beacon
light.11 = 2, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, cs130_strobe
light.12 = 6, 3.50, 8.30, -14.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
light.13 = 6, 3.50,-8.30, -14.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
// IR and Fuel Dump
//light.14 = 9, -16, 0, -10, cs130_ir
//light.15 = 10, -7, 0, 0, cs130_fdump
light.14 = 5, 2.76, -24.4, -3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light
light.15 = 5, 2.76, 24.4, -3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light
//Cabin
light.16 =4, 33.00, -1.75, -6.00, cs130_vcwt
light.17 =4, 33.00, 1.75, -6.00, cs130_vcwt
light.18 = 4, 0.00, 0.00, -3.80, cs130_cabin

works well with some limitations;

I had to re-use the light 14 and 15 for landing lights; so there are no more fuel dump or IR flare available. the C130 do not accept more than 18 lights

Be sure to have IRflares and Fuel dump effect checked in ACE utility

Nemeth Designs EC-135

Post by Leorstef »

Here is what I came up with for the Nemeth EC-135 using the new Shockwave narrow beam landing lights at 22 and 45 degrees down:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing, 6=taxi, 7=recognition, 8=wing, 9=logo, 10=cabin
light.0 = 3, -14.94, -4.22, 1.15, fx_shockwave_navred_nl ,
light.1 = 3, -14.94, 4.21, 1.15, fx_shockwave_navgre_nl ,
light.2 = 3, -23.82, -0.21, 7.01, fx_shockwave_navwhi ,
light.3 = 1, -21.54, -0.13, 7.55, fx_shockwave_beacon ,
light.4 = 2, -14.94, -4.40, 1.15, fx_shockwave_strobe_2 ,
light.5 = 2, -14.94, 4.40, 1.15, fx_shockwave_strobe ,
light.6 = 10, -16.00, 0.00, 6.00, fx_vclightgre ,
light.7 = 5, 7.48, -1.15, -2.55, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_45 ,
light.8 = 5, 10.48, 0.0, -0.57, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down_22 ,

The normal landing light effects, before the update, were causing bleed through on the all glass panel cockpit model for me. These new landing light effects did not bleed through on cockpit display for me.

Hi.

Here are my configfiles for several aircraft. Hope you find the usefull

Alphasim B-52G Stratofortress

gauge37=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
gauge38=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 4, 79.219, 0.0, 3.203, fx_vclighth
light.1 = 4, 68.634, 0.0, 4.423, fx_vclighth
light.2 = 1, -18.500, 1.5, 4.400, fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red
light.3 = 1, -18.500, -1.5, 4.400, fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red
light.4 = 1, -20.000, 0.0, -7.750, fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red
light.5 = 3, -60.200, -0.0, 27.250, fx_shockwave_navwhi_l
light.6 = 5, 47.000, 4.5, -10.500, fx_shockwave_landing_light
light.7 = 5, 47.000, 5.3, -7.800, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow
light.8 = 5, 55.000, -5.3, -7.800, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow
light.9 = 6, 47.000, 4.0, -10.500, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small
light.10 = 6, 4.000, 68.0, -4.000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small
light.11 = 6, 4.000, -68.0, -4.000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small
light.12 = 2, -40.000, -59.5, -3.000, b52water
light.13 = 2, -15.500, -33.5, 0.000, b52water
light.14 = 2, -40.000, 59.5, -3.000, b52water
light.15 = 2, -15.500, 33.5, 0.000, b52water

Can't replace all the lights because several are part of the model, as they are on moving surfaces. The beams of the taxilights are only in line with the wings when the aircraft is on the ground with full tanks. The H model has the same lights, but without lights 11-15 for the waterinjection effect.

Alphasim EFA Typhoon

gauge39=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

light.11 = 3, 0.100, 0.000, 3.730, fx_shockwave_strobe

Has allready been done, but i added two more strobes on the fuselage

Alphasim Hughes MD500

gauge17=shockwave_lights!SW Lights, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit

light.7 = 1, 2.62, 0.00, -1.90, fx_shockwave_beacon

Navlights may look strange, but they really sit at the tip of the skids. The model is now freeware

I decided not to put SF navlights on the aircraft, because i believe that those bright lights would look out of place on such a old aircraft.
