Question Regarding Texture Format for WOP II: B-17

I have a question regarding converting textures to the appropriate format. I have just recently completed a couple of texture .bmps for a new texture and after I convert them in DXTbmp to DDS DXT5 or any other format the textures do not appear and only leave the model transparent. Is there a seperate way these should be converted to make them work?

Hi Bomber.
Did you make the SPEC maps as well? Lack of them will make the model transparent...

For tests you can use the default spec maps. Choose the proper ones: from bare or painted default schemes.

You can try the IMAGETOOL that comes with the FSX SDK to make the DDS's.

Thanks ROB! I was using the specs but now that I converted the textures using Imagetool they work just fine! A major relief!
