Hi Guys! I'm new to the forum. I just recently purchased the A2A B-17,with the addon.Wow! what a plane! When I am flying along, the radio operator will come on and say "Captain we have something for you to listen to" and then there is nothing. I am assuming the music is supposed to play? Like in the
promo video? Thanks in advance, for your help.

Welcome to the forum and the A2A B17 , the music or speeches will only play , if you turn the switch to liaison position , on pilots sidewall.

Thanks Alan. Years ago, Lucas Film produced a game called "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe". It had a B-17 where
you could fly bombing missions, man any of the gun positions, take battle damage, feather the props, put out
engine fires,etc. This is the closest simulation to that one that I have found. And I have been looking for one for a
long time.

Microprose's "B-17 II: The Mighty Eighth" is an older title but possibly still the most in-depth B-17 combat sim ever made:

Yes though old now for the combat element Mighty Eighth II is awesome and got a re-release on steam too so its easy to pick up today.
