BOMB RUN TO BERLIN

Post by alan CXA651 »

Hi.
Yesterday i was given help by bill , to configure my mixture/prop controls , its not the way you would expect them to be configured for individual control , in FSUIPC, but it worked.
Today i am giving the old girl , one hell of a work out , as i write this i am on the return trip from egul - berlin -egul , having done a perfect bomb run , cruiseing at 28000ft , could do with them tuskagee fighters right now for escort home .
So far the aircraft has performed impecably , love the nostalgic music / bulatins , see if i can pull off another perfect landing , like yesterdays test circuit , must have been good as the co pilot commented on it , may be i didnt cause him to spill is coffee .

Hi.
Thanks for the offer , before i do a run like that again , i need to fully understand the b17 systems , and be more consistant with my landings, after that berlin run my co pilot was not impressed with the landing , yet the day before , i made a super smoothe landing , and was complimented by the co pilot , one good thing , i have not herd the engineer complaining about any abuse as yet of the b17 .
