Charging the battery in the B-17

Post by Kilstorm »

Noticed my 3 batteries were going dead but when I opened up the MX hangar didnt see anything to fix it with and they didnt auto recharge...this is in P3Dv3. So I used the Control Panel to do an auto start which got the engines going. Did a short pattern flight and when I landed and killed the egines, gens and apu saw the voltage was back up to 22.7 volts. Hopefully they will hold to next time I fly and will be good past that. Just didnt want to hit that taboo "Complete Overhaul" option in the MX Hangar unless its a must.

There is a battery recharge selection in the Load Manager (Shift + 4) at the bottom-left side
of the window where you also renew the expendables.

You can also start the APU and run that to start engines and then kick in the generators.
