Time lag when switching views

Post by goggles »

Hi All
My all time favorite A/C is A2A B-17G with Accusim, but I have one major problem; When switching views back to the cockpit view, I experience a 12-15 second lag before any instruments or the exterior scenery appears. This can be very disconcerting, especially when on final and makes for some very exciting landings. Any suggestions as to how to correct this.

I am running a brand new ASUS AS M52BC, FX3.3G (8300), DDR3 1600 8G, 2TB SATA3, Invidia GTX750/2GD5,WIN 8.1 64bit

All 8 cores are unparked and I run FSX-SE with Orbx sceneries

Thanks in advance

Hello,

this is just the texture load, your specs are on the medium to low side so make sure your not taxing the system too much otherwise these load times will be the result.

Hi Lewis
Thanks for the quick response.

Any suggestions as to what to do to enhance the specs? (other than a whole new system--this one is 6 mos old)

Thanks in advance

Andy

The AMD CPU and older Graphics card are not the best combo. Couple a high quality aircraft with detailed scenery like Orbx and its easy to over do it for that rig. Make sure you pull those graphic sliders back a bit to manage the best running for your setup.
