Update the B17

Post by gpf »

I simple love your B-17 Flying Fortress. Please consider updating it for Prepar3d. Perhaps even a cockpit makeover.

It already work's absolutely fine in P3DV2.X without any special installer. Simply drop a copy of FSX.exe in the main P3D folder (or copy the P3D.exe and rename it FSX.exe), browse to your P3D folder when installing the aircraft and it will install just fine.
I have installed my B17, P47, P51 and Cub into P3D since V2.0 with no issues.

Give it a try! Should work well for you.

It would be great to update the B-17 for Prepar3d V3.1. Refresh the cockpit and expand the maintenance hanger.

A2A does not seem to be interested in updating their older models. I would like to see it updated graphically for P3D and systems as well. The new reflections in P3D would look great on an updated heavy metal bird.

Of the big three, PDGM, Real Air and A2A only A2A does not update.

Apart from the P-51, P-47, 377, B-17 etc etc :P

But yes sorry no plans at present for any new B-17 products at the moment.

thanks,

A2A constantly bug fixes the older aircraft and I would rather see different aircraft come down the pike in the future.

(not interested in a Piper twin though, would rather see a twin from another manufacturer or a WWII era twin)
Take care, Brett
