Quick question, did you use a SPDT switch or a DPDT switch for the Flaps and Landing gear? Thanks.

Quick answer : Simple pole switches.
The Gear switch is an ON-OFF-ON
The Flap switch is an ON-OFF-MOM

Hope it will help,
Francois

go for "rotary switch", one like that:
Image
There is a stop washer wich enable you to select how many contacts you want to use (between 2 and 12 usually)
For cowl flaps you need 3 positions, for Mags 4 positions...

Please, let us know how your project goes and feel free to post pictures of your work, I'm looking forward to it.
Regards.

My favourite hardware websites are http://www.gotronic.frand http://www.conrad.fr, these are french website since the Shipping & Handling charge is to be considered when ordering components.
I'm pretty sure you've got plenty of website closer to your home adress than french ones !
BTW I ordered several times from the Leo Bodnar's english website without any problems...

Thanks again for the info, I ordered the switches this morning. Another question, I assume that you used slide switches for the Master Ignition Switch? Could you give some info and maybe a picture of the switches you used? Thanks again for the help mate

B-5 type dual magneto switches came in various kind.
You may find some with a slide switch as the magneto master switch, other with a lever switch.
like here

It's only a matter of personnal taste.
I choose to reproduce the lever switches with switches like this one:

The plastic lever is easy to (gently) fill so as to properly fit into (homemade) dual mag gangbar.
I guess you can also use slide switches as well.
