I love the repair hanger. It looks like it could easily become a new FSX add-on, Airplane Mechanic X! :D

Q: Will be implemented a new kind of view? For example: all torrets view, bombardier, navigator? :)

Just a little thought-provoking impulse...

Post by fixthefish »

Hey guys

Respect, the Accu-Sim B-17 is gonna be a great addon, so far so good. I love Accu-Sim aircraft and your P-47 Razorback completly changed my simmer life. But I think at one point it's to much, or why do you use FSX? Because you want to fly and experience old aircraft or because you want to be a mechanic? The P-47 is for me the perfect aircraft, you have a realistic handling and if you made a mistake you can easily repair it by clicking on OVERHAUL. But do I really want to check cylinder X and oil filter Y after every flight?
No critique, just a little thought-provoking impulse ;)

Great work, go on pls!

Hey felix,

The B-17 does have the complete overhaul too as stated int he video, however to let people know what goes on under the hood we also brought int he option to know whats going wrong inside. The P-47 also has this to a degree but we dont have anyway to show this to the user it just happens int he background with the code. Also you no longer loose engine hours if all the need to change an oil filter, a standard part of maintenance.

We found alot of users really enjoying and being proud of having long engine hours through knowing there aircraft and treating it well.

We know how important options are, so we try to keep as many in as possible, to please the broad range of users we see using our products.

And B-17 engines are much harder to blow up than those in B-377 and B-47 :)

Are ya'll gonna include a repaired paint kit with the accu-sim release? I know ICDP said something about having fixed the template. :)

This was done with just raw fsx no ezcam trak ir or DBS just used fsrecorder trying to capture different views of the 17 47 and the 24, first time using SV, its rough but learnt some stuff back when I did it. Looking forward to the accu for 17, realy going to liven things up.

A few questions before purchase

Post by Buzz313th »

1. I heard that the Accusim will bolt right onto the existing WOPII B-17. If this is true, then one can buy the WOPII B-17 now and then the Accusim Pack when it's released. Is this correct?

2. Is there gonna be a combo pack to get both the 17 and the accusim pack at a slightly lower cost then buying the two addons seperately?

3. Is there any limitation to buying the 17 now and then the accumsim pack later?
