E-4 propeller blade pitch and dimensions

Post by T6flyer »

Hello,

For a project I am working on, regarding a 1/1 scale model of the E4, we have hit a stumbling block as to the whirly twirly part that goes at the front of the aeroplane, namely the propellor. We are either looking for a suitable modern day replacement or to produce a GRP replica.

What would be very beneficial would be the dimensions and pitch of the said unit so that we can recreate a worthy replica. Does anyone have the information to hand or know of someone or an organisation that may be able to assist us in our quest? I presume for the model to be created (especially the flight model) that such information was available.

Best wishes,

Martin Pengelly
