But what happens if it does? Never think development is black and white, it just doesnt work that way from mods to entire simulations or games. This simply is not a black and white industry.

There is nothing "corporate" (in the negative sense) about what Lewis is saying - it's just smart and true.

Even if we decided now, 100% to make an Accu-Sim 109 (would be a brand new project), this would put it 1-2 years out based on our current workload and commitments.

We learned very quickly as software developers to avoid predictions or commitments until projects are actually in testing because of the unpredictable nature of the business. So, to put it bluntly (and please learn from this) that anything a software developer says now about something over a year out, one way or the other, is almost meaningless.
