I'm not too sure what you mean by pip site. But you can see the gunsights by turning them on within the virtual cockpit. The switch is normally part of the gunsight assembly.

Still no luck finding the pip sight for the gunsite on any of the WWII fighter planes was it modeled in plane?

Knight or is there a key that I have to set to bring it up?

Hmm, all WWII Fighters have the reticles. Here's the Zero as the example:

The 1.2 update adds the true 3D reflector gunsights to the Spit and 109. The Spit's gunsight switch is located on the dash, upper left area. The 109's gunsight switch is at the bottom of the Revi.

Problems Please Help!!

Post by RAF238thKnight »

OK now we have a big problem.

When I updated to v1.2 and got the pip site every thing looked great however when I went to use my guns with the update some thing is blocking the tracer fire at the prop look at photos below from v1.2 and then what it should look like in v1.1. would really like to have both if you need the file from me to help find the issue send me an email: [email protected]

Well I tried textures folder and NO LUCK!

Was there anything chagned in the .mdl with the VC that might be blocking visabilty of the tracer fire past the prop?

what else was updated on the spit?

I will load onto the 109 E-4 and see if I get the same issue and I will report back.

It has been fun mocking some battles with friends of the coast of England with Hurricanes and Spits vs. 109s Es and Fs. PLS a fix would be great.

No Luck!

Well it is the same on the 109 so its got to be in the updates on the .mdls to create the gunsites. If you guys can fix this or figure it out I would be thankful other wise I will go back to first version.

Yep did a reinstall and the backed up .mdl and loaded old .mdl back into game revi does not work so that means something with the texture or .mdl set up for the gun site or prop is blocking the tracer flares at the prop.

PLS look into this for me having the pip site with tracer would really make this plane perfect for me. Doing dog fights with it and the 109 E4 has been fun.

Yes, it's the prop. It's set like that for the 3D reflector gunsight. The only thing you can try is to tweak your tracers effect file or try another one.
