Repaints depository

Post by Darrin »

Hey all,

As the title denotes, I'm wondering if there's a depository or central location for repaints for the various fighters in WOPII WWII Fighters Special Edition?

I do see some repaints kinda scattered here and there, but I'm not always sure if they will fit the WWII Fighters Special Edition aircraft.

I know Sean Doran has some neat repaints, but his seem to be for the older planes.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Darrin

Hello, Gents!

If looking for repaints for WOPII WWII Fighters, how do I know if the repaints are designed for the WWII Special Edition aircraft?

I'm assuming I shouldn't simply go by the release dates for the repaints, as there are probably repaints that were designed and uploaded after July 2006 that are exclusively for the first WOP.

Hmmm...

All repaints that I have posted on Avsim are for the WWII version. With the other painters, it is always indicated if the repaint is for WWII. If this is not indicated, you can assume that it is for the earlier version.

And I posted a few new repaints on AVSIM (and John Terrell did too), so have fun checking them out......oh, and I would appreciate any comments, there's always room for improvement or new ideas.

..and a few more repaints available at AVSIM

as for the biggest ace, I always thought that was Erich Hartmann (352 victories)

but no, I haven't done George Preddy's plane, maybe in the future,
but you could try it yourself if you really want one. You can find blanks on Avsim, and there are a few Bodney blue nosers available that you can use as an example...

But who was the greatest fighter pilot of WWII?

If Hans Jochim Marsille had survived that fiery ballout..............well I'd have to put my money on him eventually surpassing Hartmans record

Anyone else out there have a coment on this?
