yeah, i just posted that one to show that I wasn't duping anyone. Cuz if I showed one that said "drop tank 1 released" someone might claim that I just caught the pic before it started to fall away.

I've used the lever in the 3D cockpit and the key shortcut that I mapped in the controls setup.

Please, don't use the key shortcut in FSX. Contrary to FS2004, it won't trigger the animation and complicates the Case.

Have you noticed the lever animation during drop attempt?

Thanks ROB that was my problem, using the switches in the VC makes it work.

Is there a way to hide the control stick so I don't have to bank the aircraft to reach the switches?

Nope, I suggest you to move the eyepoint (check key assignments).
Consider the TrackIR device as well.

Thanks, the TrackIR device is already at the top of my father's day wish list - much better than another tie and with the price of a new tie nowadays, not that much more expensive. :wink:
