109's and VSI's?

did they not have them? just wondering, i'm pretty sure they did not if you have it that way!!

also, does the oil cooler flap have an outside animation?

The E-4 did not. The G-2 (and on) did, as well as an ADI. (I'm not sure exactly which model between those two introduced them, but seem to remember the E-7 still didn't have them?)

Yes (see the rear of the oil cooler).
