P-51 startup

Is there a way to make the startup more realistic? What I am saying is, slow rotation of about 8 or 10 blades and then all the smoke and noise as she comes to life.
One other question. Most of the Mustangs I see today have the square tipped paddle blade props. The face of the blade, as seen from cockpit, is all flat black from tip to spinner, and the back of the blade is all polished from tip to spinner, some with tip paint and some without tip paint. Has anyone done this for the WWII Mustangs? Can it be done or can someone do it?
