Do these planes have full 3d cockpits?

Since I am a TrackIR user running some aircrafts like the realair spitfire it´s quite obvious it´s not fully 3d... Lean out and you don´t see the bottom of the aircraft how is it with these planes... Already ordered it but curious

not 100% sure what you mean but yes they are fully 3d. However I also believe that the real Air is fully 3d what you may be experiencing could be the limits to the game engine itself?

Are the 3d pits are sepaprate models, I think is what 0qvist is getting at.
And I can't say for sure about the FSX models, but I know in FS9 When adjusting views in the B-17 heavy bombers package aircraft that the pits were modeled separately from the exterior of the aircraft because parts of the aircraft were missing in the modified views.
These fighters are FS9 generation, so I don't know what you're going to experience.

Snuffy
With full 3d cockpits I mean no matter from what angle you look you can see what you are supposed to see. Many games like IL 2 instead cheat to save performance . Realair spitfire is not fully 3D which you see if you have trackIR or active camera that let you move around
In taildraggers you have to lean out to see anything while taxing especially
The cockpits in the bomber package aren´t fully 3D.

There is no tail in P47 because of some FS2004 technical limitation. In FSX this limitation doesn't exist, so maybe we will be able to add the tail section in incoming "native FSX" patch. This will be for FSX only however.
No for P51. This model comes from pre-TrackIR era.
