I was able to fly the FSX option of "WWII Fighters: Special Edition" (ie, from the CD) without noticeable problems. This was in Vista on a laptop armed with an Intel graphics card, FSX service pack 1. The FSX world in general had a few bugs under these specs but I had no reportable issues with the WoPII: WWII Fighters planes.

I'll assume that the FSX conversions for the Heavy Bombers and Jets on the first Aircraft Power Pack will work as intended also.

I believe that the P-40 was the only fighter specifically built for FSX though.

In FSX-SP1 you should be okay, with some minor prop issues.

FSX-Acceleration/FSX-SP2 are a different ballgame and there are serious issues, including major prop problems, holes in the vc panel, etc.

After the current Wings of Silver project is released the WWII Fighters are going to be made into full FSX models which should fix the issues. This is not a simple process and may take some time.

No problems with the WOP-II P-40 or WOP-II B-17 full FSX packages. They work fine in all flavors of FSX.

The NATIVELY build FSX models are the B-17 and the P-40 packages. WWII Fighters and the other packages are indeed experiencing issues with SP2 in FSX.

WWII Fighters is planned to be updated.
