This looks beautiful! One question, will this include brand new, authentic sounds? That will push me over the fence to purchase it. I love that you have included The Fighter Collection example, which is a Pearl Harbor survivor. The cockpit looks dead on in every detail - I especially like the accurate gunsight on the B, which was placed on the floor and reflected the reticle onto the windscreen. I love the details in the cockpit such as the two emergancy handpump locations on the right of the seat, the old garden hose valves that correspond to the handpump, the Prestone Warning, and so forth. Have any of the "complex" workings of the P-40 been modeled into this such as does the handpump and valves work?

Yes, the sounds are authentic. Scott's recordings from his recent trip to flyable P40 in Cavanagh Flight Museum (TX I belive).

The emergency hydraulic (gear) actions are under works however without success so far. Despite existance of adequate parameters in FSX, the only working emergency gear lowering seems to be the one based on 'gravity', not 'pump' :/

Not to be a rivet counting bit twiddler, but the Cavanaugh P-40 is an N model. According to their description, it does have a Allison V 1710-115 1,460 h.p. Close enough.

I was there a few weeks ago for their between Memorial and July 4th event. I almost heard it running but they couldn't get it started so I had to "settle" for a Seafire, a B-25 (the one from Galveston - its not blue anymore) and a T-28. So cool.

I bit more on that airplane from Canvanaugh's descripion: She is carrying the paint scheme of a B model Flying Tiger, #5, flown by General Charles Bond. It is VERY good looking.
