I'm working on a belly landed Bf-109 G-10 model kit. Can anyone please link here some images about belly landed 109s?

Thank you!

I treasure a remark i made to my grandson who asked "Grandpa were you a hero in the war?" "No" i answered, "But i served in a company of heroes"

Definetly! Thank you very much! As I see such pictures, it's only the prop wich is usually damaged, plus I'll have to make some holes created by the bullets that downed the 109.

Well some apparently landed better than others....

Hmmm..having looked at that photo again I suspect that damage is a result of a bombing raid while on the ground rather than as a result of a bad landing.

Now that's something much harder to reproduce on a 1/72 model kit

the 109 on your Picture isn´t a G Modell; it´s a early F Model.

here is a 109 G10 or G6/AS (it´s big Blower from the larger DB603 engine needs an special engineholder with a bow) crashed landed.

here another G10 (G10 because of its long unretractable rear wheel and it´s aerodynamical better formed cowling than that of the G6) crashed.
