Textures are all black

I just re-downloaded all the planes I had purchased and all the textures are black, my computer was just repaired, what in the world did I do wrong? Thank you.

Which Simulator?
I'd start by checking the DX rendering mode.

I am using FSX.

What about default aircraft? HOw do they appear?

All the other planes appear fine including the default.

Generally speaking when the airplane textures are black its becasue the program cnat find them, they or missing, corrupt or even for the wrong simulator between FSX and P3D. I have a recollection have having this problem in FSX at one time. What I did if I remenber correctly is load a default aircraft that displayed properly and then in sim switched to one of the airplanes with black textures afte which it appeared as it should. Although this did not always work, and not even sure why it worked.

My other suggestion is to completely delete one of the airplanes that has black textures and then redwnload and reinstall it. Sere if that fixes the problem.

I found out what the problem was, the person who reinstalled FSX for me installed it to a file called Flight Simulator FSX, I had it installed in Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator FSX. I want to thank all of you who took the time to help me, greatly appreciated.
