Where to find A2A aircraft liveries?

Post by Kalnon »

Hi, just wondering where on this forum can I find free liveries/paint schemes for my A2A planes?

Hi,

There are usually some repaint threads in the individual sub-forums for the different planes here in the A2A forum, although many of the links provided there may no longer be working. Also, there is a list at https://freewarescenery.com/repaints/a2a-c172.html (you can also switch to other A2A planes, not just the 172), but again, I'm not sure the links are valid/up-to-date.

HTH,
Tym

I would suggest looking at primary file libraries like these sites. These are the ones I would use if I was looking for pre-MSFS repaints.
sim-outhouse.com
avsim.com
flightsim.com

Once repaints for our new aircraft start coming out, I would imagine they'll also or mostly end up on "flightsim.to".
This one seems to have become the most active site for new repaints.

Since A2A has nothing ready for MSFS I assume you mean for the other sims. There are loads at https://library.avsim.net/

Search Avsim and you will probably find something to your liking. Most of mine are there. Warbirds mainly but I have done some GA stuff. What I have there and more can be found at my site, just follow my signature below. I've learnt a lot over the years and I tweak them from time to time. So they will be more up to date than what is on Avsim.

All the best.

Steve.

Last time I clicked on a livery there I got infected with a nasty virus. Had to wipe my PC. It was a hijacked site evidently.

All I'm saying is, be cautious.

Huh, odd. I've been there many times, and again just a few days ago, and had no problems at all.

It was some time ago but here's a link to my experience. No doubt it's solved now but you know what they say, once bitten .....

Thanks for the advice, I will check Avsim, and yes I am using the P3D and FSX aircraft and I only have their GA planes, except for the free P-40. I use combat sims when I want to fly military aircraft. I don't like MSFS, the way the planes fly feels so arcade-like (even expensive payware planes feel arcade-like to me) compared to P3D and FSX and X-Plane 11 and 12. In fact I use every other simulator out there including combat sims, the only one I don't hardy use anymore is MSFS.

Yeah when it comes to freeware of any kind there's always a risk you might get something nasty. That's why I stay well protected with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes Premium. I use them both together and it's an awesome combination that has saved me from the nasty stuff many times.

All my A2A repaints, and there are 100's of them, can be found on avsim: https://library.avsim.net/search.php?Ca ... hange+View
FS painter. You'll find most of my FS9/FSX/P3D paints here.
