Re: Accu-Sim Comanche 250 for MSFS is in beta testing
When will it be released? The Monday following a Sunday...don't quote me on that.

If you don't already have MSFS, I'd say the first step is to assure you have a PC that runs it well. I do okay with an i7-9700K and an RTX 2080 Ti and with that I can even fly in VR. However, MSFS often makes my cooling fans scream so I'd be reluctant to play it on a laptop -- I'm sure others can weigh in with their experiences though. Also, make sure you have plenty of storage, like 300-400 GB, available just for MSFS. You'll also want a fast internet speed.

To be fair I meant when I fly in VR, which I used to do all the time but kind of put on hold recently.

Let's all gather outside A2A HQ's on Monday. Bring your pitchforks.
The chant will go like this: "WE WANT RELEASE DATE! WE WANT RELEASE DATE!".
Afterwards there will be homemade carrot cake and maybe someone can bring coffee?

I would rather it come out of beta as a finished product and not rushed out of beta then requires 3 months of updates to get it half finished and full of bugs.
Still it needs to be soon.. I can’t afford to keep buying fire arms in the absence of a half decent msfs GA aircraft.
Big question is what will drop first.. this or the DA42 from the COWS team.

recommending settings is useless without knowing the PC and resolution.trisho0 wrote: ↑03 May 2023, 23:08Cooling fans screaming? Sorry, don't know what you mean. That's OK. Now, waiting for the Comanche 250 to fly with MSFS.Ron Attwood wrote: ↑04 May 2023, 13:22You forgot the disclaimer: These settings work for me. Your mileage may vary.

I've config my old computer: (Asus X99-DELUXE/U3.1 - Intel Core i7 5930K 3.5Ghz - Asus GeForce Strix GTX 1080 DirectCU II OC 4GB GDDR5 - G.Skill Ripjaws 4 Red DDR4 2666 PC4 21300 32GB 4x8GB CL15) with this settinga (but DX 11) and the graphics were indeed improved. Thanks Pat.trisho0 wrote: ↑03 May 2023, 23:08Cooling fans screaming? Hi everyone,
As many of you might already know, WASM support has been implemented for the X-BOX version of MSFS.
For a quick explanation of what it means here is a quote from the MSFS forum:

For a quick explanation of what it means here is a quote from the MSFS forum:
My questions for A2A: does this mean that the Comanche and eventually all your products might potentially be available for X-Box too? Any plans in that direction?WebAssembly is an “execution environment” that allows custom code to be safely run within a sandboxed environment. This is needed for the Xbox.
Basically, complex aircraft require custom code to run their various system simulations. WASM is the way this is accomplished for cross-platform compatibility.
Once WASM is correctly implemented in the Xbox version of the sim, it will open the floodgates for 3rd party devs to bring their complex aircraft to the platform.
Cheers
